Q. What services do you provide for individuals?

A. ARIZONA@WORK offers a wide array of services that can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Services can include job search assistance and referral to employment opportunities, skill and career interest assessments, skills upgrade such as certification and training, job readiness preparation tools such as resume review and development, interview preparation to include mock sessions and much more.

 

Q. What can one expect when they ask to meet with a Workforce Specialist?

A. Clients will discuss their career goals and an employment plan will be developed based on the steps needed to help the client meet their employment goals. The client will be registered in our job search database, azjobconnection.gov where the client can access self-services and the specialist can continue to provide support and resources beyond the initial office visit. The client can expect to leave with a plan and an entire ARIZONA@WORK system supporting them every step of the way!

 

Q. What other services do you provide?

A. In addition to career search and skill development, ARIZONA@WORK partners with a network of providers that offer additional services such as Veteran, Rehabilitation, Adult and Youth Literacy, Reentry employment and Business Services. We work with employers throughout the State and often hold recruitment events in our centers where job seekers have the opportunity to interview directly with the hiring employer and in many occasions get hired on the spot!

 

Q. How do I get started?

A. You can visit any ARIZONA@WORK location and let our friendly staff know you are interested in meeting with a Workforce Specialist, they will take it from there!
