Rapid Response
Arizona’s Rapid Response is a Workforce Reduction Support service that provides prompt layoff transition support and reemployment services to employers and employees affected by workplace layoffs and closures.
Employers and affected employees are supported through no-cost, customized services to help mitigate the effects of workforce reduction.
In Arizona, Rapid Response supports employers with any size of workforce reduction. Services are cooperatively delivered by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) and the ARIZONA@WORK system statewide.
Rapid Response supports Arizona employers facing layoffs or any size of workforce reduction.
The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act requires employers to notify the state before covered plant closings and mass layoffs.
Job seekers who have been laid off or affected by a reduction in work can receive no-cost employment services from ARIZONA@WORK.
