Job Seekers
We work with adult and youth job seekers, dislocated workers, and justice-involved individuals. From career counseling & job matching to apprenticeships, there are many ways we can help find the right employment opportunity for you.
Services are available through two comprehensive career centers and 10 partner sites in cities and towns across Maricopa County.

Arizona Job Connection (AJC) is a no-cost jobs database for our state’s public workforce system. We offer job matching, job vacancy listings, and current labor market information.
Employers
We have the network to connect businesses to qualified talent and provide valuable insight into the local workforce and changing labor market conditions. By helping businesses connect to talent, we lay the groundwork for a stronger Arizona economy.
Maricopa County invites organizations to participate in the Apprenticeship Program. Staff from the Human Services Department are available to walk your organization through every step of becoming registered with Maricopa County to offer apprenticeships.
Communities
The Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) was established to assist the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors as the Chief Local Elected Officials in strategic planning, oversight and evaluation of the local workforce development area, as well as to promote effective outcomes consistent with statewide goals, objectives and negotiated local performance.
Programs include Head Start, independent living support for seniors and adults with disabilities, repair programs for homeowners, funeral assistance, support services for people experiencing homelessness, and assistance with rent and utilities.
