WIOA Title I Adult Training Program Performance Rating Tool for Local Workforce Development Areas

This interactive dashboard provides insights into the effectiveness of WIOA Title I training programs, including completion rates, employment outcomes, and earnings by provider and program. It supports state and local workforce board members and ETPL coordinators in evaluating program performance and making data-informed decisions.

Dollar Symbol: Programs were assigned dollar icons based on their relative costs. One dollar icon indicates programs with costs in the bottom third (below the 33rd percentile), indicating relatively lower costs. Two dollar icons represent programs with costs between the 33rd and 66th percentiles suggesting moderate costs. Three dollar icons represent programs with costs in the top third, indicating higher costs.

Briefcase Symbol: The briefcase symbols represent the employment success of program exiters in the second and fourth quarters after training completion. One briefcase icon indicates a relatively low percentage of participants were employed during those periods. Two briefcase icons suggest a moderate level of employment success. Three briefcase icons represent a high percentage of participants found employment after exiting the program.

Flying Money Symbol: The money symbols represent the relative wage outcomes of program completers in the second quarter after exit. One money icon indicates that actual wages were lower than expected for participants who completed the training. Two money icons signify that wages fell within the expected range. Three money icons indicate that participants earned higher-than-expected wages after completing the program.

Star Rating: Each training program received an overall effectiveness rating, represented by star icons, based on its employment and wage outcomes. One star indicates the program performed below expectations. Two stars indicate the program met expectations. Three stars indicate the program exceeded expectations.
